Passing of Brother Allan Kitchen

Allan W. Kitchen, 61, of Roaring Branch, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 12, 2018, at Susquehanna Health Williamsport Hospital.
Born Feb. 2, 1957, in Williamsport, Allan Wayne was a son of the late
James M. and Sara J. (Sechrist) Kitchen. He attended Loyalsock High
School with the class of 1975. Allan worked as a welder’s helper with
the Harrisburg Local 520 Plumbers & Steamfitters Union. He was a
private person, an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Allan appreciated
watching wildlife, especially the deer in his front yard.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his siblings, Sharon Kitchen of Williamsport, Marie
(Mike) Cole, of Cogan Station, Kevin (Melody) Kitchen and Darren Kitchen
(fiance, Tara Wesneski), all of Roaring Branch; his nieces and nephews
who were very special to Allan, Heather Eisenhour, Jessica Strailey,
Echo, Amanda and Paul Cole, Brock, Adam and Lacey Kitchen, Sidney and
Tyler Kitchen; several great-nieces; great-nephews; many good friends;
and special friends from the mountain, Terry and Randy Stahl.
In addition to his parents, Allan was predeceased by a niece, Stephanie Strailey.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 20, at Pepper
Funeral Home & Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton. Rev.
Duane Taylor will officiate the funeral service at noon. Burial will
follow in Beech Flats Cemetery. Those who wish may consider a memorial
in Allan’s name to Charity of one’s choice.
